1.Prices
The prices payable when you purchase beer online are clearly set out in the website. If, by mistake, we have under-priced an item, we will not be liable to supply that item at the stated price, provided that we notify you before we dispatch the item concerned. All prices are expressed inclusive of any VAT (at the prevailing rate) payable unless otherwise stated. The price of the items does not include the delivery charge which will be charged at the rates applicable at the date you place your online beer shop order. The delivery rates will be displayed in the Delivery Section of the web site.
2. Cask Club
1. The Cask Club is only open to UK residents aged 18 years or over. Full details on where we deliver to can be found on the FAQs section of our website.
2. To join the Cask Club apply online at www.classicales.co.uk. Memberships registered on or before the 14th day of the month will receive a Cask for that month. Any membership registered on or after the 15th day of the month will not receive a Cask until the following month.
3. All payments are processed by WorldPay Limited on our behalf. By joining the Cask Club, you agree to accept any terms and conditions that WorldPay Limited may impose, in relation to payments made through the Cask Club, from time to time.
4. You may cancel your membership at any time. This can be done at www.classicales.co.uk. If you are unsure how to do this, please email us at customerservices@classicales.co.uk. Memberships cancelled on or before the 14th day of the month will not receive a Cask for that month. Memberships cancelled on or after the 15th day of the month shall receive a Cask for that month and the Cask shall be charged for.
5. We reserve the right to cancel your membership of the Cask Club, at any time and without notice, due to any breach of these Terms & Conditions or for any reason which in our reasonable opinion warrants cancellation.
6. These Terms & Conditions, and your membership of the Cask Club, are governed by English law and are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
7. The Cask Club and www.classicales.co.uk are owned and operated by Marston’s PLC (registered company number 3461) of Marston’s House, Brewery Road, Wolverhampton, WV1 4JT.
3. Availability
If for any reason beyond our control, we are unable to supply a particular product, we will notify you as soon as possible and certainly within 30 days.
4. Delivery
We offer Next Day delivery (mon-fri) as standard on all orders and is priced at £5.99 per order.
Our beer deliveries are made only to addresses in mainland UK (England, Wales, and Scotland). For the avoidance of doubt, we do not deliver to the Republic of Ireland and the Channel Islands. In addition, our couriers do not deliver to PO Box numbers unless a valid telephone number is provided. Orders to the Scottish Highlands, Scottish Isles, Isle of Man, Isles of Scilly or Northern Ireland will attract an additional surcharge. See post codes below that may attract a surcharge

We attempt to make deliveries between the hours of 8am and 6pm, however on very rare occasions deliveries may be attempted out of these hours. We will endeavor to accommodate any change of delivery details, however if the goods have already been attempted to be delivered a charge may be levied.
A majority of online beer shop orders are delivered on the required delivery date when specified, however delivery on any particular date is not guaranteed.
Our couriers deliver and collect orders from our Dispatch Depot Monday to Friday, excluding Bank Holidays and other public holidays. Therefore any order dispatched on a Friday will not be delivered until the next working day in line with your chosen order requirement, excluding Bank Holidays and other public holidays.
Collection for assured deliveries for Christmas would need to be made 5 working days prior to the last working day before Christmas. Delivery times may be affected if there are stock availability problems or other unforeseen circumstances. If we are experiencing an out of stock on any product we will contact via email and/or telephone to inform you.
For your security, the courier's paperwork must be signed, either at the recipients address or a neighbouring address in order to acknowledge receipt of the Product/s. A Delivery Note detailing the Products supplied by classicales.co.uk will be stored in one of your delivered parcel/s, and this is your proof of delivery.
If our courier attempts delivery at the delivery address, specified in the order, or as a fall-back attempts delivery with a neighbour but cannot deliver the Products, the courier will retain the Products and will leave a calling card with a Customer Services telephone number for you to call in order to arrange re-delivery. Please note that the courier company can only arrange a specific re-delivery date, and cannot arrange a specific re-delivery time.
The courier will only attempt to deliver the Products on up to two separate days, after which a further delivery charge may become payable.
The real ale products will be returned to our Dispatch Depot if they have not been collected from the courier. For returned orders only the cost of the products ordered is refunded less the cost of returning the order. We guarantee that you will receive bottled beers with at least 6 months remaining before the expiry of the Best Before date unless otherwise stated. We guarantee 14 days remaining before the expiry of the Best Before date on mini cask unless otherwise stated. The guarantees are from the date of dispatch, not date of delivery.
5. Age Restriction
We will not sell to anyone who is not 18 years of age or over, as the law requires. By placing an online beer shop order you confirm that you are at least 18 years old when you purchase beer online on our website. If you are buying a product/s as a beer gift set - the recipient must also be over 18 years old. If our couriers are in any doubt about the age of the recipient on the beer delivery, they will request some form of ID. If the person receiving the online beer shop order is unable to produce appropriate ID, unfortunately our couriers will be unable to leave the products.
6. Order Cancellation
You may cancel your online beer shop order at any time until seven days after the goods are received, but you will be liable for the initial delivery cost. You will be responsible for returning the products to us at your own cost. The goods must arrive back at our Dispatch Depot unopened and undamaged. You can cancel your order by emailing our Customer Services on customerservices@classicales.co.uk
You will then be sent an email with details of your RMA (Return Merchandise Authorisation) number and the returns address. The RMA number must be clearly displayed on your returned order. Orders returned without first obtaining an RMA number will not be accepted.
Some corporate or large orders may be classified as Special Order. If an order is classified as Special Order you will be advised of this by email or in a price quotation. If a Special Order is cancelled after payment and products have already been ordered into a classicales.co.uk dispatch warehouse to fulfil the order, such orders will be liable to a restocking fee of 25% of the value of the products ordered.
All credits will be issued within 30 days of the cancellation, provided the goods have been returned within that period.
7. Returns
We will provide a full refund of any real ale products that are faulty. We must be notified of damaged or faulty products within 3 working days of receipt. We may require the faulty real ale products to be returned to us. We will arrange this as necessary. Contact our Customer Services via email on customerservices@classicales.co.uk On the rare occasion where the real ale products delivered are different to those ordered we must be informed of this within 3 working days of receipt. We will arrange a collection of these products as necessary, once we have investigated the dispatch records for your order. 8. Claims for Breakages
Upon receipt of your online beer shop order, the order should be carefully inspected to make sure that it is intact and in full. The courier must be informed of breakages or shortages at the time of delivery. We will not accept any claims for breakages or shortages unless they are stated on the courier’s documentation. 9. Payment
You can pay for Products purchased from classicales.co.uk by using any of the following cards: Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Visa Debit, Visa Electron, Maestro/Switch, and Solo. You must give us authority for payment at the time of order. When inputting your payment details you will be directed to RBS Worldpay. As explained in point 13 Classic Ales is operated by Marston’s PLC, and payment will be made to Marston’s PLC which will also appear as the description on your card statements. All card holders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer. We will not deliver any real ale online Products prior to these checks and authorisations being completed. If your card issuer refuses to authorise payment to us, we cannot accept your order, and will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery.
10. Product Information
We endeavour to advertise our products accurately. However we cannot guarantee the accuracy of information provided on our website about Products, such as photographs, images and descriptions of the Products.
11. Governing Law
Your use of this website and any purchase by you on this website will be governed by English Law and will be deemed to have occurred in the United Kingdom.

22. Classic Ales Review Prize Draw- Terms & Conditions
1. This competition is only open to UK residents aged 18 years or over, excluding employees of the Promoter, their families, agents and agencies and anyone else professionally connected with this promotion.
2. To enter, log onto www.classicales.co.uk and complete at least one product review during the month. Only one entry per person.
3. Prize consists of one case of 12 x 500ml bottles of Hobgoblin.
4. There are no runner-up prizes.
5. The winner will be selected at random on the1st day of each month for the previous month from all valid entries and under the supervision of an independent person. The closing date for each monthly prize shall be 11.59pm on the last day of each month.
6. Winners will be notified by email. Please allow 28 days from the email for the dispatch of the prize.
7. No cash or other alternative in part or full will be offered in lieu of the specified prizes. Prizes are not transferable.
8. By entering the prize draw participants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by the rules. All entry instructions form part of these Terms and Conditions.
9. The Promoter reserves the right to withdraw or amend without notice this promotion in the event of any unforeseen circumstances outside their reasonable control.
10. The Promoter's decision is binding in all matters.
11. Winners must respond to notification of their prize within 28 days otherwise the right to claim the prize will be lost and the promoter reserves the right to re-award the prize(s).
12. Winners may be required to participate in reasonable publicity as specified by the promoter.
13. The promoter can accept no responsibility for, and reserves the right to refuse, entries which are corrupt, incomplete, lost or damaged or fail to arrive by the closing date.
