Thomas Banks and his son Henry founded the Banks’s Brewery in Wolverhampton in 1875. The original brewery remains the home of Banks’s ales to this day. Under the guidance of Head Brewer Banks’s ales are produced following traditional recipes and using only the best natural indigents. It’s this attention to detail and focus on quality that gives our beers their distinctive full flavours.
If you’re an avid fan of Banks’s ales or you want to see what all the fuss is about, see below for the wide choice of ales available from Banks’s!www.bankssbeer.co.uk
In 2002 the original Brakspear brewery closed down with production moving to the Wychwood brewery. Determined to maintain the traditional Double Drop method of fermentation the original brewing equipment was transported and installed at the new site. Brakspear is one of the few brewers still using this method of fermentation and it’s this process that helps give Brakspear beers their characteristic butterscotch flavour.
